LookPrompter for Mac · Last updated 30 October 2026

The short version

LookPrompter collects no data. Your scripts and settings stay on your Mac.

What LookPrompter stores, and where

Your scripts, and your settings such as text size, speed, opacity and hotkeys, are saved on your Mac, inside LookPrompter's own sandboxed folder. They are never sent anywhere. Deleting LookPrompter and its folder deletes them.

What LookPrompter does not do

• It has no account and no sign-in.
• It makes no network connections.
• It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
• It does not use your camera, microphone, screen recording, contacts or location.

Ghost Mode

In Ghost Mode, LookPrompter follows where your pointer moves while the prompter shows, only to clear a lens around it. It doesn't record keys or clicks, and nothing is stored or sent.
